Between (1) Edward Chadfield, Philip B Chadfield and Philip Brookes Mason as trustees of the will of Hugh Brookes of High Bank, Winshill, gentleman, and (2) John Woodcock, John Hall and Elizabeth Hall, as trustees of will of Margaret Hall of Hud Hey, Haslingden, Lancashire, widow, of (1) 2 closes called ‘The Womans Lands and Pit’ (3 acres) in Castle Gresley, and tithes, (2) messuage called ‘Far Leys’ at Cadley Hill in Castle Gresley and land (34 acres) and Thorn Tree Close (3 acres) near Far Leys Farm, and (3) Rock Close and Hoofey Lane Close, Cadley Hill and minerals, with schedule and plan showing Cadley Hill Colliery. Includes schedule of deeds and documents relating to land at Church Gresley belonging to the National Coal Board
