Description
For pay periods 1004½-1576 ending 14 Jan 1877-20 Dec 1898. Columns for date, names of workman, where working, shafts, steeled, hammer shafts, noper shafts, new shovels, 2nd hand shovels, new shaft shovels, tokens, and token strings, with occasional columns at end for items such as carbonite, roburite and detonaters. List of prices at back of shafts charged by the Clay Cross Company as at 25 March 1897. Loose item dated 7 March 1898 refers to No. 5 Pit [Morton].
