At back, returns of information for each district, recording (i) names of collieries, coal seams worked, average numbers of persons employed daily above and below ground, mode of ventilation (furnace or fan, with description), measurements of upcast and downcast shafts, number of splits and quantity, average length of airways, sectional area of airways and average total quantity of fresh air in cubic feet per minute, for years ending 31 Dec 1885-1889: (ii) numbers of persons ordinarily employed under and above ground, with break down according to categories based on ages of boys, girls, males and females, and quantities of minerals wrought each year, for years ending 31 Dec 1885-1889: (iii) summaries of returns for districts, for years ending 31 Dec 1895-1905
