Arranged in quarterly sections. From March 1914, with sub-divisions for clerical staff and separate companies Slater and Co., Coupe and Co., Groves and Co, and Hardwick and Co., Barker and Co., Shelton and Co., Wood and Co., Deakin and Co. [?sub-contractors]. Columns for pay number, name (surname and initial of forename), age (not used), amounts for weeks ending within quarter, quarterly total, and remarks. At end of each quarters summaries of totals for surface, "datal" and contract.
Identified on spine as "Mansfield Surface No. 2".
