Biography
Jenny was a woman of African descent who was enslaved at the Grange Hill plantation in Jamaica. Malcolm Laing bought Jenny from William Gray in 1769 and sent her to Grange Hill. She was recorded there in 1771 and 177; in 1771 she was working in the fields.
