History
The 1925 Kelly's Directory of Derbyshire describes James Henry Woolliscroft of Main Dale Road as a greengrocer. Some time before the publication of the 1928 edition of the same directory, Woolliscroft's business had undergone a fundamental change, as the firm is then referred to as James Henry Woolliscroft and Son, as "motor omnibus proprietor", Dale Road North - a description which is repeated in the 1932, 1936 and 1941 editions. In 1929, the building company B M Wildgoose was contracted to replace the existing garage with a new one. As at 2017, the site was in use as the business premises of Milner Off Road, a car parts supply company.
