Description
Subjects covered include proposed division of Heage into wards. Includes a 1924 petition signed by electors residing in the ecclesiastical parish of Ambergate, requesting a separate parish council, citing the distance of the council office in Upper Heage from inhabitants of Ambergate and Saw Mills and the inadequacy of sanitary arrangements, roads, council finances and water supply. Includes Medical Officer of Health reports from Heage UDC dated 1921-1925.
