Title
Letter from William Porden to John Taylor, on Taylor's declining invitation, asking him to reconsider
Date
20 Dec 1815
Description
Congratulations on return of Mrs Taylor, but sorry to hear of problems with lungs which might prevent his company that evening; offer for them both to attend still stands, if they come in spite of coughs and colds; letter shown to Miss Porden, who put on a long face; if told, Mrs Taylor might be more soft hearted than him.
