Reports in detail his daughter's health and recent travels: has recovered while staying at Ingoldmells. Now intends for her to go to Brighton to benefit from sea bathing in October: describes intended journeys: he and Lady Franklin will then go to Cheltenham. Reports on daily sight-seeing, travelling on horseback or in an open carriage. Mary Booth gaining strength. Records doubts about the wisdom of Mr & Mrs [?] Tinny setting up a shop and is not willing to lend them money.
