| Administrative History | Mary Anne Kendall, later Mantell (1829-1858) was the daughter of Lieutenant Edward Nicholas Kendall, R.N. and his wife Mary Anne (nee Kay). She married Alfred Adams Mantell, M.D., of the East India Company Service, on 10 May 1855 at the District Chuch of St John's, Notting Hill, London. She died aged only 23 on 29 March 1858 at Balasore, Bengal, India. |
