| Administrative History | Wirksworth Recreation Ground Trust was formed in 1887, holding its first meeting on 27th February 1887. Its purpose is to maintain and manage the town's recreation ground, which is used by numerous groups. The first Trustees were Frederick Charles Arkwright, Henry Alfred Hubbersty, William Wedd M.D., Anthony Maclean Alsop, Henry Beesley. |
