Title
William Wragg, Stretton Hall to Sir Anthony Abdy: I am sorry to bother you about my affairs with Lord Thanet; I would be glad to take Thanet's part of my farm but the present advanced rent is so high that I could not make it out of the land; it is well known to be a wet, cold, clayey soil but is valued at a higher price than the rest of Thanet's land; it should be revalued; if abatement cannot be made and a division must ensue, I beg that it be done amicably without recourse to Chancery.
