Title
General release by Henry Hawkins of Soho (Middlesex), glassgrinder and carver, to David Barnes of Ashgate, gentleman; whereas there are divers dealings in trade subsisting between Henry and John Hawkins, his son; and whereas John married Eleanor Correll, daughter of Edward Correll, of Hazle Hall (Yorkshire) and died shortly afterwards, and all accounts between Henry and John are now settled; and whereas David Barnes has since married Eleanor; of all actions, suits etc. by reason of the former partnership between Henry and John.
