Title
Probate of William Higginbottom of Ashgate, yeoman: to his brother Samuel Higginbottom of Hasland, farmer, and his son-in-law John Naylor of Whittington, millwright, his messuage and closes at Ashgate, upon trust to sell the same at auction and to pay his debts and funeral expenses; to Samuel and John also, all his personal estate upon trust to allow his wife Ann to enjoy the same for life (so long as she not remarry) and then to sell the same and divide the money among his children. Will dated 19 April, 1802. Proved at Lichfield.
