Lease and release by 1. Richard Killingley of Normanton near Derby yeoman and George his second son to 2. Thomas Hickenbotham of Aston yeoman for £28 2s 6d due on a mortgage made by John Killingley deceased, Richard's brother, of premises, to Samuel Mather of Aston cordwainer and which is to be paid by Hickenbotham out of the purchase money and for the further sum of £67 17s 6d, making £96 in all, of messuage, cottage or tenement in which John Adams dwells in Aston, orchard on South of cottage, ½acres meadow at Meadow Yates, 4 acres arable in tenure of Joseph Adams (giving field names and acreages) and 5 sheepgates in the fields and commonable places of Aston, all in Aston, excepting barn called Little Barn with garden and the Well Yard
