Description | Reciting that Anna Eyre, Edmond 's mother, holds the manor place of Weston, all houses, lands belonging, with herbage of the park, the Cunyngrye, Blacke poole, Arneforde, Branforde and all other pools, aywayes and waters to the manor pertaining, until Michaelmas 1571, at rent of £16 19s 4d, and that Paget has the reversion of the premises for 15 years from the death of his father William Lord Paget, who died 9 June 1563, and witnessing that for £120, Paget leased the premises to Eyre from Michaelmas 1571 for the remainder of the term of 15 years, at the same rent, that Eyre will annually give horse meat and mans meat and lodgings to Lord Paget 's steward and to 3 or 4 of his servants, coming not more than twice a year to hold the great leet and court of Weston for 2 or 3 days, will maintain "thackinge and dawbinge" about the manor place and other houses belonging, will provide meat, drink and lodging to workmen repairing the buildings, whilst Lord Paget will defray other repair costs, except the carriage of timber, slate, tile and plaster which Eyre will bear, up to 14 miles of the manor place.
