Bargain and sale by 1. Laurance Whitaker of London esquire, Henry Price of London gentleman to 2. Edward Charlton of `Sangiacre' [Sandiacre] gentleman, John Holden of Wilne gentleman and Edward Holden of Osmaston yeoman, for £307 8s of yearly rent or fee farm of £21 4s reserved out of the manors of Broxtowe [parish Bilborough] and Mapperley in counties of Nottingham and Derby, heretofore in the tenure of Thomas Whalley gentleman and Richard Whalley esquire and out of all other lands etc chargeable with the fee farm of £21 4s by letters patent dated 21 July 12 James I [1614] granted to Sir Philip Stanhopp and out of the said premises before granted, by letters patent dated 21 August 18 James I [1620] granted to Whitaker and Price, 2. to hold the fee farm of the King as of the manor of East Greenwich in free and common socage
