Title
Gift by Bernard, the abbot, and the convent of Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, to Robert of Gresley, of the land of Darlaston by Stone [Staffordshire], to hold in fee, and heritage each year, for 52 shillings; and of the service of Ralph of Caldwell , for 5 shillings yearly, and for the free service of his body; half the rent to be paid at the Feast of St John the Baptist [24 Jun], half at the Feast of St Martin [11 Nov]. In return for this gift, Robert and his heirs owe homage and fealty to the Abbot and Church of Burton
