Archivist Note	These items were found in an archive strong room with various unrelated records. Given their very fragile condition, it is likely that they were stored in the Drying Room on receipt, and inadvertently moved before they could be catalogued. It is far from clear that they belong to the series of records for C. E. Newton received as the 8th deposit from Taylor, Simpson and Mosley. However, they do appear to have belonged to C E Newton, and have therefore been catalogued with his other papers in this collection. BS, 20/02/2023
