In Trust for Mr Wm Wagstaff/ 1st March 1709/ 3' - '20th June 1771/ Mr Wm Downes/ & Mr Wm Wagstaffe/ to/ Mr Wm Tomlinson/ Transfer of Mortgage/ 17.' - 'the 24th ffebruary, 1770 /William Wagstaffe the/ older to /William ?Downes/ Mortgage of the ?Stones field /in Mellor for Serving £60/ lawful Int/ 16' contained -'23rd ffebruary 1770/ Mr Wm Wagstaffe/ to/ William Downes/ Lease for a Year' - 23rd April, 1765/ William Wagstaffe the Elder Ux/ and William Wagstaffe the Younger /to / Richardson and ?Allon / ?/ Deeds to make Tenant to the precipe/ for suffering a Recovery of Lands in / Mellor in the Coun Derby and declaration/ of the Uses thereof/ Released / 13' - 'Cooke/ Hillary term 31 Geo 2nd /Derbyshire/ Recovery/ Hudson/ 9'' [ William Bancroft and Peter Bostock v Thos Stubbs and Thos Hudson re land in Mellor.
