Ordnance Survey 25 inches : 1 mile 2nd edition Derbyshire sheet 55.1, showing Osmaston, including Victoria Railway and Iron Works, with three sewers: off Sinfin Lane, south of Normanton Barracks, along Derby Lane near the Cavendish Hotel and along Village Street near Sherwood Hotel, joining a sewer from Peartree housing running south-east towards Melbourne.
