Local Preachers' Mutual Aid Association: Whaley Bridge branch
Administrative History
The Local Preachers Mutual Aid Association was a charity founded in 1849 to provide benevolence to preachers in times of financial difficulty. This voluntary association helped support the training and development of local preachers as well as providing support for their widows and dependents when need arose.
The charity is now part of the Leaders of Worship and Preachers Trust.
