Description | Contains the names of boys who attended Belper Mill day school and where they lived. The weekly amount deducted for schooling is summarised monthly. A column contains remarks on where they have gone to work or a reason for leaving. A note at the end of the entries says “July 1880. The school is put under the supervision of the Board of Education, and henceforth the school fees are entered in Class registers provided for the registration of attendance and fees. William Jackson.” Labelled 68 on first page of entries, later labelled O1/257. Top of spine cover detached. |
