On front flyleaf, note of agents Burkinshaw and Garry, 45, Fore Street, London.
At front, alphabetical index of customer’s names. A second copy index is loose inside front cover.
Detailed accounts for unspecified goods bought are itemised under customer name and place, some accounts have a full address. Notes of late payment and bankruptcy are stuck on the accounts. Including accounts for lease in London back to Jan 1829.
Assorted sheets of accounts are tied in the back of the book with string.
"London Ledger 1855" on spine.
Labelled 96 on first page of index, later labelled O1/43 on spine.
