| Administrative History | This was formerly part of the parish of St Werburgh, it was built in 1839 and became a separate parish in 1870. In 1972, the parish was united with Holy Trinity and shortly after the parish of St Peter with Christchurch and Holy Trinity was formed. Christchurch was declared redundant in 1976 and was sold in 1977. |
