Administrative History
The documents in this collection chart the career of Rt Rev Tom Parfitt. Much of his career was devoted to posts within the Diocese of Derby, including that of assistant Bishop of Derby. He also served as a parish priest in Warwickshire between 1939 and 1946, during which period he also acted as a chaplain in the navy, and later as Bishop in Madagascar from 1952-1962.
Custodial History
These records were donated to the Record Office by a private individual in September 2006.
