Administrative History | Loundsley Green Methodist Church is the direct successor to the United Methodist Church on Marsden Green, Chesterfield. The official opening ceremony in the church was held on 30 May 1964, although the first official meeting of the Loundsley Green Methodist Leaders was 5 Feb 1964. In January 2005, a formal Covenant was signed and LEP (Local Ecumenical Partnership) established. In May 2010, the congregations moved under one roof to form Loundsley Green Church and the former Anglican building is now used as a community centre. |
