Administrative History	Built in 1837, Cutthorpe Primitive Methodist Church was originally part of Chesterfield Primitive Methodist Circuit. In 1888, when the circuit split into three, it joined the 2nd Chesterfield Circuit, later named the Mount Zion Circuit. Cutthorpe Methodist Church closed on 22 February 2009 and united with Barlow to form Barlow and Cutthorpe Methodist Church. Meetings took place at Barlow until this church also closed on 18 July 2021.
Custodial History	These records were deposited by the Chesterfield Methodist Circuit in September 2006 (re-accessioned from D3458) and February 2014, and the Sheffield District of the Methodist Church in October 2022.
