Dear Sir, (or Madam) INFORMATION TO THE ENEMY The Minister of Information is most grateful to all Members of The Trade for their help in distributing and displaying the Anti-Gossip Posters. He is reluctant to put Members to further trouble, but he believes there is another way in which we can co-operate with him to great advantage for the National Cause. He therefore asks that you will do all you can by your personal influence to prevent indiscreet talking on your premises. It seems to him that very often a friendly word from a respected Lincece-holder could do a great deal to stop talk before it became dangerous. Such a warning might not only be effective at the moment, but might make an impression on all present, the recollection of which might prevent a similar offence on other occasions. We feel that you will be desirous of helping the Minister in this way, and we are informed that anything you can do will be greatly appreciated by the Minister and the Government. Yours faithfully, For Offilers' Brewery Limited H. C. Offiler Managing Director |
