Administrative History | The Charity was established in 1732 by the will of Jonathan Tantum. He devised to trustees the rents and profits of one moiety of a messuage, garden, orchard and a close of land called Webster's Croft in Loscoe. Two thirds of the rents and profits were to be given to the poor of Codnor and Loscoe, the remaining third part to be given to the Trustees of the Breach Meeting of Quakers at Codnor to be used as they saw fit. |
