Administrative History
These items relate to a competitive music festival for choirs and soloists held at the Grand Pavilion and other venues in Matlock Bath on 22 and 23 June 1928. Elocution and country dancing also featured in the competition. Entrants in the country dance section were Clay Cross Senior Girls' School and Horsley Woodhouse Council School. Some choir marks have been pencilled in by Clarence Henry Farnsworth, a member of Matlock Male Voice Choir.
Custodial History
These items were donated to the Record Office by a private individual in October 2004.
