Administrative History
Ticknall Nursing Association may have been established as part of the war effort during the 1914-1918 war. It developed into a local service supported by subscriptions and charges for attandance and treatments including midwifery. The Association was affiliated to Derbyshire County Nursing Association. It ceased to operated after the introduction of the National Health Service.
