Assignment by Francis Hurt esq, Immanuel Halton esq, Robert Leacroft, Doctor Gell, John Toplis, John Satterfield, Philip Mather, Philip Tomlinson, Richard Mellor, George Evans, David Woodhouse, Samuel Buxton, trustees to Philip Gell of Hopton, esq, in consideration of £50, a twentieth part of the tolls and profits arising from the section of turnpike road from Four Lane Ends near Oakerthorpe to Ashbourne, to be held for the remainder of the term of years mentioned in the Act, but if the trustees repay to Gell £50 at 5% interest a year by 20 Dec 1769, then this assignment will be void
