Draft agreement between (1) William Redfern of Bakewell, mercer; (2) James Redfern of Plaistow, in the Parish of Crich, farmer, John Redfern of Hartington, farmer, William Wright of Bradbourne, farmer, and Sarah Ann Wright, his wife, Charles Edward Briggs of Hartington, gentleman, and his wife, Martha, and John Parkin of Idridgehay, land agent and valuer; and (3) James Taylor of Bakewell, banker; - for the transfer of the ownership of William Redfern from being the trustee for sale (under the will of Mrs Mary Redfern) to being the absolute owner of six pieces of land situate southwest of Hartington, in the Parish of Hartington, total 28a-2r-17p, known by the names of the Barley Lands, Near Croston Side, etc, being Lot 2 in the above auction.
