Copy draft conveyance in fee by (1) William Watts of Middleton by Youlgreave, labourer; and (2) Ellen Watts, his wife; to (3) George Dale of Dudwood, in the Township of Elton, farmer; - of land situate in the Township of Elton, called the Crosses, 3 acres, formerly occupied by Aaron Stone, but now by Richard Mountney, now divided into three parts called the Cross, the Hillock, and the Pingle, which is bounded on the west side by Dudwood Lane, and on the other sides by a garden of Daniel Ingman, and by land belonging to the proprietors of Portoway Mine, and by an occupation road, for £245 5 Jun 1861
