| Custodial History | These files were donated to Derbyshire Record Office via Erewash Museum in April 2017. The records had originally been disposed of by Derbyshire Record Office as the sampling procedure adopted resulted in the retention of the application files for the census years only (i.e. 1971, 1961, 1951, etc.). |
| Appraisal | Having been disposed of through the census-year sampling undertaken for the other building plans and applications, these records were returned to Derbyshire Record Office in April 2017. Approximately 130 such files were received as part of the donation and following further appraisal these 19 files were retained. These files represented the more substantial buildings or projects. As there is a full series of registers for the period which the plans relate, the remaining files were destroyed. However, for ease of reference to the registers a list of these plans can be found below (it is presumed that these plans represent most if not all of the applications submitted by the firm between 1936 and 1970).
