Holmewood Zion (Primitive) Methodist Church
Administrative History
Zion Primitive Methodist Church was established in Holmewood in 1918. In 1932 the Primitive Methodists joined the Wesleyan and United Methodists to form the Methodist Church. In Holmewood Zion and Bethel (formerly Wesleyan) continued as separate churches until 1961 when they amalgamated using Zion church. From 1970 the church was known as Holmewood Heath Road Methodist Church.
