Bond by Timothy Lee, clerk, of Ackworth (county Yorks.), Thomas Toutill, William Tootil, Margaret Poskitt, William Townend, Thomas Heron and William Popplewell, to John Brook, husbandman, of Birkin (Yorks), and Thomas Wright, clerk, of Romeley, in sum of £200, to observe the arbitration of Sir Rowland Winn, William Wrightson and William Sotheron in a dispute over the liability of John Brook, occupier of a farm in Birkin (Yorks) belonging to Rev Thomas Wright, for paying parish rate, which he has not paid for several years because Rev Thomas Wright maintains an aisle in the parish church at Birkin (Yorks) at his own expense.
