Administrative History
Brailsford National School dates from 1825 and was originally built to hold 70 boys and girls. After 1908 the school is known to have been called the Brailsford Public Elememtary School.
The school partipated in Dove Valley Primary Schools' Association bi-annual music and drama festival, which began in 1958.
Custodial History
These records were deposited at Derbyshire Record Office in March 2000 and October 2002. A further accession was received in April 2016 (see D5185/UL). Some additional items were donated by a private individual in April 2017 and September 2017 (see D5185/UL).
