Description
The church was built in 1862 and enlarged in 1867. A new church was built in 1906. The schoolroom was built in 1880. The church formed part of the Church Gresley Circuit and later the South Derbyshire Circuit. For circuit records, see D2740 and D5131.
On 1st September 1996 the society at High Cross Banks amalgamated with that of Castle Gresley, Station Street, to form Castle Gresley Methodist Church.
The records were deposited by the Superintendent Minister of the South Derbyshire Circuit between 1999 and 2002.
