Description
Papers relating to the estate of George Goodwin of Buxton and Pigtor (died 1851), the executrices of whom were his wife Mary (died 1869) and her sister Elizabeth Garmston Barker (died 1861). The collection includes many earlier deeds and papers relating to Goodwin and Barker estates in Derbyshire and elsewhere.
Miscellaneous papers now numbered D504/49 and D504/50 were found with these papers but would appear to be unrelated. They may have been collected by the same solicitor
