Description
Decimus Hands was married twice, with two children from his first marriage. His second wife - Jane Garstang Hands.
John George Edmund Hands, who in 1908 toured Australasia, was married to Margaret Ada Hands. They were originally based at Watford, Herts. Then, along with his sister Eliza Mary Anna Hands, moved to Birchington on Sea, Kent.
John also had a half sister, Catherine Lavinia Earp. She had two sons, Rosslyn and Freeling. Catherine was possibly married to J. Oswald Earp, of Riber, Matlock.
John was to authorise his Executors to appoint Francis James Taylor as their solicitor in his second codicil of 1909.
