Description
Papers relating to the administration and sale of property belonging to George Gooddie, following his death in January 1863. Properties included a freehold estate and farm in Priestcliffe, Derbyshire; properties in Lever Street, Warwick Street and Bradley Street, Manchester; Rusholme Road, Chorlton upon Medlock, and Erskine Street, Chatham Street, Alder Street and Devonshire Street in Hulme, Lancashire. A sale of furniture and personal belongings also took place in George Gooddie's former residence at Derwent Cottage, Rowsley, Derbyshire. Papers also include title deeds for a number of the properties, including those in Priestcliffe, Derbyshire, Lever Street, Manchester and Rusholme Road, Chorlton upon Medlock.
