Administrative History
It was a small firm of light constructional engineering with works based at Colwick near Nottingham, which was acquired in 1954. It was integrated with the engineering works at Ripley in 1964. The firm was made dormant in 1966, re-named Butterley (TD) Ltd in 1970 and liquidated in 1979.
