Description
The tapes relate to her childhood in Glossop, the first ten years of her life being spent at 44 Hague Street in Upper Whitfield, after which she moved to Primrose Terrace. The family were Wesleyan Methodists, and a lot of the material relates to the chapel at Upper Whitfield.

Administrative History
Recordings on two cassette tapes were made of the reminiscences of Lilian Yates Harlow née Brocklehurst. They were made between April and July 1992 following a visit to Glossop. She died on 1 August 1992.
Custodial History
The tapes were donated to the Derbyshire Record Office in January 2000.
