Title
Lease by Robert Parker of Buxton, Bank Manager, to William Edward Constable and Joseph Joseph of 40 King William St., London, contractors and asphalt manufacturers, of a parcel of land at Matlock known as Cawdor Wood or Matlock Bridge Limestone Quarry with all beds of stone beneath the same, for 35 years at £200 pa subject to a royalty of 2½ d on every ton of stone removed over 19,200 tons and an additional rent of £5 pa. Plan 21" x 40", 60ft to 1 in 8 schedules of conditions and covenants 22 Sep. Endorsed with assignment by Joseph Joseph to Samuel Wickens of 83 Queen St., Cheapside, of all his right and title to the above estate for the residue of the term, the partnership of Joseph and Constable having been dissolved, and Joseph's share in the same having been transferred to Wickens, 28 Feb 1890
