Description
Ring folder containing items selected for an exhibition on school history, together with the printed captions and other materials that formed part of the display.
Printed and handwritten recollections gathered from former pupils, including name and years of attendance ranging from the 1960s to the 2010s. Examples:
"In year 6 I captained the school football team in the Turnditch Cup, we reached the final of the tournament and were only narrowly beaten"
"Winning an Easter Egg Competition"
"Burying a Millennium Capsule"
"Playing bulldog on the top yard"
"When the tree in the bottom playground fell down in to the school building".
Longer typed recollection by former pupils: Janet Bonsall, Matthew Austin, Pete Fawcett.
Letter dated 15 Mar 2004 from the Assistant Private Secretary to HRH the Prince of Wales expressing thanks for welcoming Prince Charles to the school. With photograph cut from a newspaper showing children waving union flags during the prince's visit to Cromford Mill.
