Attested copy of mortgage in fee by William Rooth of Chesterfield merchant to Elizabeth Esther Graham of Chesterfield widow of a messuage at or near Hodge Lane in Ashover Overend, and the Great Meadow, the Croft, and Hollin Knowl, the Little Meadow, the Near, Middle, and Far Smalls, the New Lands, the Cross Close, the Upper Close, the Square Close, the Horse Pasture, the Rye Butts, the Hovel Intake, the Peach, and other lands all lying in the parish of Ashover, containing in all 89 acres one rood 25 perches; and a messuage and lands as in D37 M/T900-01; and a parcel of land as in D37 M/T904-05. Consideration £1000. Dated 17 November
