A messuage the Pasture, the Calf Close, Little Close etc, Brackenfield
Copy probate copy of the will of Thomas Johnson of Hurdlow in the parish of Hartington farmer; son Samuel to be tenant of the farm which testator holds under the duke of Devonshire; to same, all live stock and farming equipment; to son Thomas, a messuage and premises called Ridge End in the parish of Sheen (co. Stafford), charged with payment of £100; to son William, £600 to be paid out of real and personal estate when William is 21; to wife Olive, an annuity of £4 for life over and above her dower; household furniture and goods to be divided equally between wife and sons. Testators to be Samuel Johnson of the Boothlow junior and John Shirley of the Rewlatch. Will dated 14 November 1805; proved at Hartington, 5 May
