Description
The receipts include sums from yourself and of his master as well as named persons including Mr George Revell. Sums paid include to yourself and other persons, and for rent, foodstuffs, tobacco, wine, shoes, clothing, travel expenses with references to Derby, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Sawley ferry etc., musicians, apothecary etc work done
Often undated, probably 1612-1613
Also includes:
A few entries dated 1619
A note of my master's linens 1613
Building accounts for Brookhill including detail of work on the house, wages paid, stone wrought at Mansfield and Sutton quarries, where dated 1611-1613 with 2 entries which may be 1622 but could be 1612
The book is bound in part of a lease of property in Marston by Sir Anthony Thorold [1611-1612]
